The Australian parent company of Neil Woodford’s fund administrator Link Fund Solutions, has received a conditional offer from Pacific Equity Partners, Carlyle Group and their affiliates to acquire 100% of the company.
According to filings at the Australian Stock Exchange, the proposal is subject to a number of conditions, including due diligence screens and securing debt financing.
The announcement comes a year after the FCA launched a probe into Link Fund Solutions, the group’s UK ACD arm, and its oversight of the events that led to the suspension and subsequent wind-up of Woodford’s Income Equity fund in 2019.
